August Favourites 2015

Hello everyone! I know it might be a little bit late for my August favourites but I decided to share the any way. These are some of my most used and loved products throughout the month  of August. I would love to hear yours so you can leave a comment down below saying what you been loving this month.
Avon Nailwear pro nail varnish in the shade Peppermint leaf
I love the Avon nail varnishes. They are very opic and have a good lasting power and what is more they are very inexpensive compared to other brands. They also have a flat brush which makes the application easier and quicker.
Rimmel London nail varnish in the shade Mary, Mary quite contrary
I don't really have to say much more for these than I said for the Avon ones. Again these nail varnishes have a flat brush and good lasting power. However, some of them do not have the best pigmentation. Unfortunately you have to apply at least three coats of this nail polish to get a nice opic colour. But I love this shade and I have been wearing it like crazy throughout the whole summer. It is the perfect pastel lilac for my skin.
Dove Invisible Dry deodorant
This is hands down the best deodorant as I have been using it for a very long time now and I don't think I am going to change my opinion soon. I bought this deodorant as a part of a gift for my mother and since then I have completely used up three cans myself. I even bought the roll on version. It smells incredible and what got me was that it doesn't really smell like a perfume but it has a really clean and fresh scent. It has a very good lasting power and it doesn't stain your clothes whatsoever. If you are looking for a good deodorant I definitely recommend trying this one.

Hean CC Cream in the shade Natural
I spoke about this one in my Mini beauty haul. If you've missed this post you can check it out by clicking here. I love this for the summer because when it's hot outside you don't really want to wear too much make up and this feels very light on the face but it also gives you a good coverage.
Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser.
I know I am quite late on the party but this is a new finding of mine since we didn't have these in Bulgaria for quite a lot time. I  love popping this on my nose, chin and everywhere where I think my skin doesn't feel nice and soft . It smooths out your skin and makes your foundation look a lot better. You can use it on it's own are underneath your foundation and it will make your pores less visible.
Ziaja Goat's Milk Body Lotion
My aunt used this and she recommended it to me when i was searching for a good body lotion for the summer. This is a Polish brand and the main ingredient in their products is goat's milk. The lotion comes in a very simple and plain bottle. It has an amazing scent. It moisturises your skin nicely and it sinks in very quickly so you are not sticky for a very long time.
Zdrave cream
Now if you are from Bulgaria you are pretty familiar with this cream because it is a must have in every household. Unfortunately it is a Bulgarian brand and I am not sure if you can get it somewhere else. I have been using this creme since I was a little child. It helps with everything - blisters, wounds, scratches... etc. Name it and this creme will fix it. At the minute I am using the light formula. I apply this on my face every night before I go to bed and it really helps with spots. If you have any they heal a lot quicker than normal and if you don't it prevents them from coming. It is just an amazing cream.

And last but not least, my book favourite of the month is All the Bright Places by Jennifer Niven. But do not get misguided by the cover and the title because it is not the happiest of books. It is a young adult book and it follows the story of a boy and a girl both of whom have something in common - wanting to kill themselves. I didn't really expect too much from this book but I was actually pleasantly surprised. I am not going to give out any spoilers because you will have to read it for yourself but the book is very emotional. I loved the story and the characters and if I have to be honest I cried a little bit :D . I would be definitely rereading this very soon.

This is all I have for you today. I hope you've enjoyed this post and if you've tried any of the products that I spoke about leave your opinion on them in the comments down below and we can discuss them. Hope you have an amazing September.
xoxo  Mony :)

Back to School... Stationary Haul

Probably for most of you school has started already, which means that this post is slightly pointless for you, but I start school at the 15 of September ( most hated date in Bulgaria) and as usual this is one of the most stressful time of the year. What I normally do to get through this period is go shopping for supplies that I am mos probably not going to use. This year is my last year of school and naturally is wasn't an exception. Although I did buy a lot less than usual. I went shopping with my mum to this big shop in Bulgaria called Jumbo which is pretty much the same thing as Target so I wanted to share with you what I bought.

Last year I really went overboard with notebooks and I have so much that they would last me a lifetime but I couldn't just leave the shop without getting some new ones and these three made their way into my basket. The first one I liked mainly because of what is says on the cover " Life always offers you a second chance. It's called tomorrow." I love quotes like this one and this is literally my motto in life. Another thing about this notebook is that it has a spiral thingy on the side which is very handy and also hard covers. Now we all know how messy our school bags can get and having a hard cover notebook which is not going to get all squished inside is vital. Which is why the other two notebooks that I got also have hard covers. Last year I had a similar notebook to the one with the bird and flower but with a different design and I can say that this was my favourite notebook and it still is because I haven't even reached the middle of it. It has so many pages that you can write down so much information in it and you will still have a lot of space. And the last one I fell in love with the design. With that black line on the side and the label in the front I think it looks very vintage and I love it. It also has a timetable which is always a plus. I also got some highlighter markers in all the neon colours they had available and a packet of neon pencils to go with them. Going along with the neon theme I also got some page markers because I had some last year and I didn't really use them too much but I want to try and use them more this year. And lastly I got some pens because no matter how many pens I buy I always either lose them or I give one to someone and never see it again. So I bought the most boring ones there were and this concludes my back to school stationary haul. I hope you've enjoyed this post and I would love to see what you got for going back to school. And if you have any ideas for back to school post that you would like to see me do put them in the comments below..

... xoxo Mony...

Rimmel Lasting Finish Foundation Review...

Hello guys! Today I am going to be reviewing the Rimmel Lasting Finish foundation. Before I begin I just want to say that yes the colour that I got doesn't really seem to match me right now because I was on holiday and I have quite a lot of tan but it does suit my natural skin colour and I am hoping that my tan will fade out quickly so that I can wear again. I am going to stop boring you about me and I will jump right into the review.
So the packaging of the foundation states the following "Full coverage foundation enriched with a comfort serum. Instant perfect coverage that feels extra comfortable and lasts all day." It says it last up to 25 hours and it has an SPF of 20.
As you may or may not know I also have the Rimmel match Perfection foundation and I have both of them in the same shade. The first thing that I noticed was  that the Lasting Finish is slightly darker than the Match Perfection and it is less liquidy. The two foundations have similar textures but the Lasting finish has better coverage and it really last longer than the Match Perfection. I haven't worn it for 25 hours but it does last all day. The first time that I tried the foundation I found that it looked a little bit cakey, blotchy and it was really obvious that I was wearing foundation, but after some time it had really blended into my skin and you couldn't really notice it. And I find that throughout the day it looks better.
It feels very light on the skin and  you can't really tell you have foundation on your face. It blends very well and it has a very nice finish. It is not dewy like the Match Perfection but it's also not matt and drying at all so I thing it would work with all skin types. As an overall I think it is a great drugstore foundation and I will definitely be repurchasing it. It has good coverage and at the same time it doesn't feel heavy or uncomfortable. Have you use it and if you have what is your opinion on it?

My Furry Friend Tag c(:

Since yesterday (26th Of August) was the National dog day I've decided that today's post would be dedicated to my little furry friend. So I hope you enjoy this little doggy post :)
1.What is your pet's name?
Her name is Aira, which probably sounds like a male name in English but believe me in Bulgaria is a very common name for a female dog.
2.What kind of pet is it and what breed?
It is a mixture between an American cocker spaniel and an English cocker.
3.How long have you had your pet?
I took her home when she was only 45 days old and I've had her for 3 years.
4.What are some quirky things about your pet's personality?
She has a very strong character and she is one of those dogs who don't like being petted or stroked by strangers. She is not friendly to other dogs, apart from homeless ones, which she adores and that is why we always joke that she is Robin Hood :D But to us she is the sweetest dog. She loves car journeys, although she can't sit still for more than 5 minutes and goes from window to window.

(this is a picture I took of her right after she had her first hair cut so she looks like a boy)

5.How old is your pet?
As I already mentioned she is 3 years old.
6.How did you get your pet?
Funny story I didn't really want a dog. I have always been a cat person and I really wanted to get a cat for my birthday but because I had a hamster at that time I didn't want to risk it's life so I chose to get a dog. I found Aira in an advertisement on the Internet, my dad called and I had to wait for 2 weeks until she was old enough for me to take her home. Because she was born in another city ,she had to come with a bus so we got her from the bus station and I remember it was Easter Sunday. She was crying so loudly that you could hear her even from the other side of the world. It was raining so I put her under my jacket and went in the car. It was the best day in my life.
7.What are some of your favourite past time with your dog?
I love stroking her because her fur is so soft.  Every morning once I get out of the bed I sit on the couch and she lays in my lap. One of our favourite games to play together is catch. She loves running after sticks in the park and carrying stick that are too big for her.
an example:

9. What are the nicknames you call your pet?
The name Aira is very rarely used in our household. Everyone pretty much has their old nicknames for her. I like to call her Ruca or Rucemi which sounds strange and has nothing to do with her name but.. oh well.

Do you have a pet, if so what kind and if you don't do you want to get one?

Swimwear Summer 2015

Hello everyone! I hope you have a good start of the week. As usual today at school we had a bomb signal so we had to "evaculate". This has happened three times this month and I doubt it is going to stop soon because it's almost the end of the year and people just don't want to go to school. So since I came back home at 14:20 (this term in Bulgaria we start school at 13:30 and finish at 18:25. Previous term we started at 07:30 and finished at 13:30) I had the whole day to myself and instead of studting for tomorrow I backed some cookies and looked at clothing websites all day. I made this little set of swimsuits and swim and beach wear in general. These are some of the things that caught my eyes. I hope you like them.

Untitled #31
1. The first ting is this kimono from Bershka (you can buy it here). Kimonos are really popular this season and they can be worn over a tank top and some shorts or even over your swimsuit if you are going to the pool or for a nice relaxing day at the beach. This one is quite long so it is perfect since it is going to cover most of your  body and it's floral which is always a plus.
2. Hats are essential in the summer time because you have to protect your face and eyes from the sun. This one is from H&M    (buy here). It is very summery and what caught my eyes is the black bow. I was about to buy the hat today when I realised that is was a size L and apparently I have quite small head so it looked horrendous.
3.Going to the beach without a bag is like going to school without your notebooks. You need a big bag so that you can fit all of your beach essentials like sunscreen, towel, glasses, snacks. This one is from Bershka and I think it goes really well with the hat. It is the perfect beach bag because it is not going to get dirty and it has one big pocket where you can fit everything you need.    (you can buy it here)
4. If you are not OK with showing too much skin and going just with a kimono playsuits are perfect for you. You can also wear them on everyday basis because with some accessories they make a very casual and comfortable outfit. I love the colours of this one from Stradivarius. It hangs very loosely around you body and it has s string so that you can tighten it around your waist.    (buy here)
5.Flip flops or sandals as you may call them are next on my list. These ones are from New Look and are super cute. The pastel colour goes perfectly with the whole theme of this post. I don't have anything too much to say about them  so.. yeah.    (buy here)
6. And last but not least on the list of accessories and clothing are sunglasses. They are as important as hats are because you want to protect your eyes. These ones are from Boohoo. I have quite a difficult time buying glasses because it appears that I have quite a small face and big glasses swallow me up. But I think these ones would be good and will fit quite well.    (buy here)
And now comes my favourite part. Since last year I got obsessed with swimming suits. Last year I bought a white bikini top for H&M which had black polka dots all over it and for bottoms I got some light blue ones with ruffles along the top. They looked great together but the top turned yellow after I swam in a pool so I had to buy a new one but the problem was that it happened in august when all bikini top were sold and they had only big sizes or ugly ones so this whole year I spend searching the web for a new one.
7. The first one and probably my favourite one is from Boohoo. It has an aztec print and high waisted bottoms. High waisted bottoms look very trendy and are perfect for someone who doesn't want to show too much of their tummy but the only downfall is that you are going to end up with quite a funny lines   .(buy here)
8. These ones have a very similar bottoms to the ones that I got from H&M last year. The top also has ruffles and a gap. This type of swimming suit is very popular these days and you can see a lot of people wearing them. My favourite thing about it is the colour. Pastel pink is my life.    (buy here)
9. And last is the swimming suit that i went for this year. I bought it because the top is going to go with my blue bottoms that I don't have a top for anymore. It is blue and has a floral pattern which if you haven;t noticed already is my favourite. It has straps which is very convenient and the top has this popular twist in the front but other than that it is quite a standard swimsuit.

This is everything that I have for you today. I hope you enjoyed this post and get excited because summer is just around the corner. :)

Spring/Summer Must Haves 2015

Untitled #30

Hello everyone! Sorry about the lack of posts recently but I have been quite busy with school and everything. Today's post is going to be a Spring/Summer must haves for 2015. These are some items that I think everybody should have in their wardrobe for this season. Firstly I want to apologise for the blue and white theme that's going through the post :D. I have been a bit obsessed with the combination between these two colours. So lets get into the post. You can see the links of all of these items at the end of the post.
1. Playsuits and jumsuits are one of the best things ever created. They are very comfortable and stylish. The only downfall is the toilet time :D. But other than that they are the best thing to wear on one of those days when it's really hot outside and you want to throw on something really quick but you don't want to wear a dress or a skirt. Any colour and pattern will work but this season playsuits with lace are really popular. This one that I have here is from Boohoo.
2. Next going along with the lace theme is this top. Crop tops have been around for a while now and it seems like they are going to bee popular this year as well. This one is a lacy white crop top from H&M and you can style it with high waisted shorts or skirts or even wear it over your swimsuit when you are going to the beach.
3. Floppy hats were a very popular autumn trend for 2014 but they can still be worn during spring and summer to protect your eyes and face from the sun. Brown and beige colours are perfect but you can also experiment with other colours. The one that I have shown you is from H&M.
4. Another Item from H&M is this maxi dress. It is white and it has some blue detailing on the bottom and through the whole dress. Maxi dresses are another must-have for summer if it's too hot but you don't want to show too much skin. They will cover you up but since they are flowy you will not fell the heat. You can wear either a very simple plain one, or with stripes or even with a crazy pattern.
5. Next for a fragrance I choose the Daisy Dream by Marc Jacobs. It's really light and refreshing so I decided to pop it in. Any light and fresh scent of you choice will do the job.
6. Denim jackets are never out of fashion so if you have an old denim jacket laying around in your wardrobe quickly go and grab it because as usual it is going to be very popular this spring. It will bring some edginess to any outfit and it will keep you warm in those chilly evenings. In fact I think it would look very nice paired with the maxi dress, the sandals (that I will talk about in a minute) and the hat. I would totally rock  this outfit.
7. As for make up I chose this eye shadow palette from Too Faced and it is the Boudior palette. I chose it because the colours in it are very warm and natural that I think are perfect for spring and summer.
8. And last but not least are these sandals from H&M. I got similar ones to these last year and I wore them every single day last summer. Brown, leather, strapy sandals are a staple for summer and they will complete nicely every outfit. And the best thing about them is that they don't have those things that go between your toes because they are killing me.
That's all that I have for you today. I hope I got you a little bit more inspired for spring and summer this year. Bye!
xoxo Moni :)

Wednesday, 8 April 2015

Hello everyone! It feels like ages since I last updated you on this blog. I am sorry about that. Just for a little update before I go into this post my birthday passed (obviously). It wasn't as traumatic as I thought it was going to be and in fact I got some pretty nice presents and had a good time. I spent it with my family and my little cousin was there to cheer me up. And right now I feel like absolutely nothing has changed (as I expected). I am not going to bore you anymore with my boring life and I will jump right into the post.

As you have probably already understood from the tittle and the picture that  this is going to be a OOTD type of post. The weather here in Bulgaria has been awful recently and when I say awful I mean rain, low temperatures and even SNOW in April... are you for real?! So I have been craving some sun and I combined this outfit for when the weather gets better (which I hope will be soon).
So for a top I chose this lovely shirt from H&M. I got it quite a while ago but I haven't had the chance to wear it yet. It is navy blue and it has white triangles all over it - some pointing upwards, others downwards. It is a peplum style (which has been my obsession since summer 2014) and it has 3/4 length sleeves. Unfortunately it is not available on the website but you can check in your local H&M to see if they have it.
For bottoms I have been loving these jeans. They are from a store called Caliope which unfortunately I think is available only in some countries in Europe. They are high-waisted and what really got me about them is the colour. They are not dark, but they are also not light, they are just in the middle and they are a good transition from dark jeans in the winter to light in the summer. The are super stretchy and comfortable. A friend of mine and me both got the same pair.
For shoes I went for these ones which I got for my birthday and I absolutely love them. They are also from H&M and are pretty similar to these ones (click here) but a shiny version. I think they are very classic and go with everything, and they are the type of shoes that you can't go wrong with.
The bag you have already seen in a previous post. It is also from H&M (shop here it is not the exact one but they its pretty similar). And just to finish it all off I chose these glasses that I got a while ago. I am the worst with glasses because I can never find ones that suit my face. They are either too big or look ridiculous. I am not sure if these look good but they are the only ones that I have.
And last but not least I decided to throw in a book that I am reading at the minute. It is called "The longest ride" and it's written by Nicholas Sparks. There is a movie version coming out soon and I really wanted to read the book before I saw the movie.
So this is it for this blog post. I really hope that you enjoyed it. I would love it if you guys share your fashion favourites in the comments. I will definitely be reading through them.
xoxo Mony :))

On the verge between childhood and adulthood...

It's one o'clock in the night and I am laying in bed wide awake writing this post that I have never intended writing. I was thinking that this blog was going to be one of those beautiful blogs with amazing photography, gorgeous girls posing with their brand new fashionable clothes, but it turns out it's not. ( I really hope one day probably when I learn how to take good photos, buy a better camera, have someone to help me and  take photos of me with my new clothes and learn how to pose because it is definitely not my strongest skill if I can call it that way) For now I am just going to accept the fact that this is the best I can do and hope to get better. But this is not what this post is going to be about. On the 22 of March ( meaning next month OMG) I am going to be 18 which for many of you probably doesn't mean anything but for people from most European countries this is the age when you officially become an adult. At 18 you are allowed to vote, drive a car and of course legally drink, smoke, have sex and all of that jazz( not that I do any of these things and I don't really see myself smoking in the near future). This is like the most important. birthday in your life because it ends your childhood  and your "new life" begins. Bullshit if you ask me! Your mum and dad are still going to phone you at 8:30pm asking where you are and when are you coming home and you are still going to need your parents permission to go clubbing or sleep at a friends house. No matter if your 17 or 18 you're still their child and they are going to treat you like one untill you die of old age.  But let's not talk about parents because we all know how they are. I don't know if it's because I am in a Saturn hole ( I am not sure if it called like that but my family uses the term for when there is a month or less before your birthday) or because it's such an "important birthday" that I feel so nervous and kind of sad. As usual for the last several years I am not going to have a party because of my lack of friends to invite ( but that's a whole different story so let's not get into details in that) And I feel like I am going to miss the one and only birthday in my life of such importance and i just wish that it was a little bit later, probably when I had overcome me social awkwardness and found friends with whom I could celebrate the "most important day in my life"  the day "when my life actually starts" . But no. I am going to lay in bed all day, eat cake, cry a little bit and go to bed like any other day except for the cake and the crying because you don't get to do this everyday. I mean everybody else is going to have an amazing party with awesome gifts and unforgettable memoris but well I guess I am not that type of person. Also another thing that's worrying me is growing up. Because when you are like 14, 15 even 17 you know that you are still a kid (eventhough sometimes you act as if you are all grown up) and you know that people don't expect to much from you. But all of a sudden you become an adult and everyone expects you to be all grown up now and be responsible for stuff and make right decisions and it scares me that I am not going to be good enough, that I am going to make wrong decisions, let people down and just waste everybody's time. I am afraid that I am never going to live life at it's maximum  because of my social awkwardness and inability to feel chilled around people. And if it was okay for me to not have a boyfriend untill now because I am too young it is not okay now that I am becoming 18 because I am not little anymore. I know that all of this sounds extremely stupid and childish, for heavens sake I am 18 years old, and in 10 years time I am going to laugh at myself for writing this shit and wasting all of your time but this is  how I feel right now and I thought if I have no one to share this face to face why not share it with you guys. If you feel the same way I will be very happy if you share it in the comments and I am very sory if i just wasted you time.

xoxo Moni

Flower Nail-Art Tutorial

Hello every one! For this blog post I am going to show you how to make this beautiful Flower nail-art.
You are going to need:
1. A very light nail polish with a skin colour or very light pink for the base of your french manicure.
2. Black nail polish
3.White nail polish
4. A nail polish in a colour of your choice for the flower
5. Top coat (optional)
6. And a thin and long brush for nail-art (similar to these ones)

The first thing that you want to do is to apply your base colour.
You want to apply two coats of this and wait for it to dry completely.
The next thing is to make your french manicure. If you are not confident in your skills you can use stencils for this part. It makes everything a lot easier but if you have done this before you can try and draw the line yourself. What I do is that i slide the brush along the nail and try to keep the line as straight as I can. Don't worry if it doesn't look good the first time... practise makes perfect.

Then comes the tricky part where you have to draw the petals of your flower. You want to draw four little petals using the thin brush and  don't worry if they don't look perfect because we are going to outline them later and fix everything that we've messed up.
I would recommend that you use a more pigmented colour for this (unlike I did) because you want it to be visible on the black.
Next we are going to outline our flower. You can use the same brush just clean it with some nail polish remover and you are good to go. You want to outline your flowers very carefully because this is how your flower is going to look at the end so take your time with this step. Next you want to make a little dot in the centre of the flower. For this step you can use a dotting tool if you have or a tooth pick.
The last part id my favourite because you get to decorate the flower as you like. For mine I put some little lines in each petal coming from the centre and I put some small white dots. To make the nail design look a little bit more finished I added some line coming out of the flower with the black and put some dots here and there. You can make yours like mine or you can make different designs or get really creative and switch it up.

If you try this out yourself I will be very happy to see your attempts. You can tag me on your photos on any social media and I will be looking through your creations.

XoXo Moni :)

Eleven Things | Liebster Award

I didn't even know what a Liebster award is but apparently I was nominated by Maria (check her blog here) (Thank you very much for nominating me) and this is what I am going to do today.
So basically a Liebster award is an award that bloggers give to other fellow bloggers and the main reason is to promote new bloggers who are just starting out and are not that big in the blogging world. So long story short - you get nominated and you have to answer 11 questions that the person who nominated you had asked and then you nominate 11 other bloggers, who have under 200 followers and you ask then 11 random questions and then they all do the same.
These are the questions that Maria asked:

 1. Favorite YouTuber?
Ohh thats a hard one...I have so many...If I have to choose only one I would choose Hannah Maggs. If you haven't seen her chanel please do. Hannah and her husband Steff make the most amazing vlogs - the filmig, the editing... it's all amazing (check their channel here)
2. What is your zodiac sign?

3. What is/are your favorite TV show?
F.R.I.E.N.D.S all the way. I have watched every single episode of the show a million times and I still laugh on every single one of them.

4. Do you have a favorite drugstore makeup brand? Why?
I really like Maybelline mainly because of their nail poolishes but I also like Rimmel and Bourjois

5. What is your favorite movie?
A favourite movie (except for Harry Potter because that's obvious) of mine is My sister's keeper. If you haven't seen it you just have to. It's so emotional that I cry everytime I see it.

6. A nude lipstick or a dark plum lipstick?
A nude.. :)

7. Summer or winter?
Oh god I like both.. I will say winter only because Christmas is in December :D

8. What country do you like most? Why?
I love England and my dream is to live there someday. Strange as it may sound I like the weather. I also love the accent and the buildings and just everything!
9. What is the last book you read?
Right now I am reading the Great Gatsby but i haven't finished it yet... so the last book that i finished was The Finisher by David Baladicci
10. Black or white?
Hmm... black

11. Favorite blog?
Recently I have been in love with Meggs' blog Wonderful you. (check it out here)

I nominate

My questions for you are:
1. Favourite Make-up Brand?
2. Favourite place to be?
3. If you could be another person for a day who would you be?
4. Ypur favourite book?
5. Something you can't live without?
6. Do you have a pet? And if yes what?
7. Countries you have visited?
